Rental Event Manager, Events & Venue Operations
Overview
Owner and execute rental events at a city performing arts center with multi-venue spaces. Collaborate with clients, vendors, performers, and City teams to plan timelines floor plans and production requirements for private celebrations corporate events performances and community gatherings. Deliver safe professional experiences with outstanding customer service and real time problem solving. This role stands out through direct city partnership and a hands on operations focus across a diverse campus.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build event plans timelines floor plans and production requirements for rental clients
- 2Coordinate with City departments vendors contractors and production teams to execute events
- 3Manage contracts estimates invoices settlements and event budgets and documentation
- 4Identify opportunities to increase revenue through rentals catering equipment staffing and services
- 5Visit clients to understand vision and recommend spaces services and solutions
- 6Oversee event setup execution and serve as Manager on Duty for assigned events
- 7Lead event and operations teams ensuring safety professional delivery and customer service
- 8Troubleshoot challenges in real time and implement creative practical solutions
- 9Manage multiple events and priorities while maintaining communication organization and attention to detail
Requirements6
- 1Five (5) years of experience in event management performing arts convention centers hospitality or related environment
- 2A high school diploma GED or equivalent
- 3A valid Georgia driver's license
- 4Strong organizational communication and customer service skills
- 5Ability to manage multiple events deadlines and client needs simultaneously
- 6Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast paced environment
