You will research and interpret federal state and local regulations structure data to power automation and compliance workflows. What You'll Do9
- 1Research and interpret federal state and local regulations across jurisdictions
- 2Structure and tag regulatory information for automation and compliance workflows
- 3Review and quality-check Blumen's regulatory datasets for accuracy and completeness
- 4Identify ambiguities edge cases and contradictions in regulations and define handling approaches
- 5Communicate product gaps workflow problems and data quality issues to engineering and product teams
- 6Collaborate with engineers product managers and domain experts to model regulatory logic
- 7Build internal methodologies documentation and quality standards for the process
- 8Own the problem development and scaling of regulatory intelligence features
- 9Maintain high attention to detail while balancing repetitive quality control with independent critical thinking
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Familiarity with NEPA Clean Water Act Clean Air Act or equivalent state regulations
- 3Experience interpreting statutes regulations permits contracts or technical standards
- 4GIS or spatial dataset experience
- 5Prior experience in environmental consulting data QA or government permitting
- 6AI or data product experience
