Registered Veterinary Technician, Overnight ER & Specialty

RVT will own overnight emergency and specialty care at a growing hospital with a collaborative team. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise overnight patient care in ER and specialty cases
- 2Design and implement medication administration and anesthesia protocols for high acuity patients
- 3Lead junior technicians, mentor staff, and support cross-team communication
- 4Own conflict resolution and client communication with empathy and professionalism
- 5Scale workflow during overnight shifts to maintain efficient throughput
- 6Ship and track diagnostic procedures using digital radiology and in-house lab results
- 7Drive a culture of safety, QA, and adherence to hospital standards
- 8Provide support in MRI/CT-adjacent cases and collaborate with physicians
- 9Improve patient flow and outcomes through creative problem solving
- 10Manage on-call coverage and weekend rotations to ensure 24/7 care
Requirements10
- 1Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
- 2RVT or equivalent credential
- 3Previous tech experience in ER or ICU settings
- 4Ability to communicate professionally and courteously in high-stress situations
- 5Availability for overnight 10-12 hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage
- 6On-call rotation required
- 7Compensation $23.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on credentials
