What You'll Do10

  • 1Build patient care plans in triage, treatment, and stabilization to support positive outcomes within the first 90 days
  • 2Design and deliver nursing care and emotional support during tests, treatments, and discharge while maintaining client communication
  • 3Lead administration of meds, IVs, CRIs, blood products, and advanced monitoring
  • 4Ship patients through diagnostic imaging, sample collection, and lifesaving interventions with accuracy and speed
  • 5Own anesthesia and critical care nursing including complex procedures and post‑op recovery
  • 6Scale your skills with advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, ultrasounds in collaboration with doctors
  • 7Drive team communication to sustain smooth care flow and medical decision making
  • 8Provide CPR and RECOVER protocol leadership and mentorship in a fast paced setting
  • 9Debug and refine care processes using EMR data and practice management tools
  • 10Honor a supportive, high‑empathy environment for patients, families, and teammates

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program preferred
  • 3Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT RVT LVT LVMT) in the practice state
  • 41+ years in veterinary technician role with emergency or specialty experience preferred
  • 5Basic computer skills and EMR software familiarity
  • 6Excellent communication and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • 7Fine motor skills and ability to handle patients and equipment
  • 8Ability to stand for long periods, kneel, lift up to 25 kg and assist with up to 40 kg
  • 9Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a rotating schedule
  • 10Comfort working in a noisy environment with strong odors
