What You'll Do8

  • 1Support veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures, following the California Veterinary Practice Act.
  • 2Perform laboratory tests, obtain health histories, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • 3Assist with surgeries and procedures, ensuring sterile, organized treatment areas.
  • 4Educate clients on pet health, medications, and membership options like Thrive Plus.
  • 5Use safe restraint techniques and uphold standard protocols in exam rooms and labs.
  • 6Manage patient flow and communicate with clients via phone and in person.
  • 7Guide and mentor fellow team members to elevate care quality.
  • 8Document all care in practice systems to maintain comprehensive medical charts.

Requirements9

  • 1Current Veterinary Technician licensure in California.
  • 22+ years of veterinary experience.
