You will monitor patient vitals and administer medications on a Telemetry unit at a partnering hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts. What You'll Do7
- 1Review Telemetry data to track heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and other vitals.
- 2Administer and record prescribed medications with EMR documentation.
- 3Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments promptly.
- 4Collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment plans based on Telemetry trends.
- 5Maintain accurate patient records and BLS protocols during shifts.
- 6Respond to alarms and escalate critical changes in patient status.
- 7Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medication use.
Requirements5
- 1Current Massachusetts Nursing License
- 2American Heart Association BLS certification
- 32+ years of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- 4Ability to work AM shifts (7am-7pm) on a 13-week contract
- 5Experience with telemetry monitoring and EMR charting
