The NICU Chronic Complex Care Unit provides exceptional care to fragile babies requiring specialized family centered care. This high acuity unit manages several drips for infants with BPD pulmonary hypertension and congenital malformations. Vanderbilt NICU founded in 1961 remains a level IV tertiary care facility serving over 1400 fragile newborns annually.
What You'll Do11
- 1Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates implementation while anticipating patient needs across the continuum
- 2Analyzes comprehensive patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and determines appropriate interventions
- 3Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate progress toward goals and ensures effective outcomes
- 4Employs strategies to promote health and maintain a safe environment
- 5Adapts to changes in patient care needs with minimal disruption and loss of productivity
- 6Follows up to assure problems and issues are resolved
- 7Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- 8Conducts primary care patient interviews and physical examinations
- 9Searches for evidence to answer clinical questions and works under supervision
- 10Invests time in developing self and others to improve performance
- 11Maintains regular contact with key colleagues to expand relationships
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience with NICU environments
- 3High acuity unit managing several drips for complex cases
- 4Familiarity with BPD pulmonary hypertension and congenital airway malformations
- 5Level IV tertiary care experience required
- 6Board of Nursing standards compliance
- 7Evidence-based practice skills demonstrated
- 8Patient education proficiency at novice level
- 9Nursing assessment proficiency at novice level
- 10Data driven decisions ability
- 11Certification as Licensed Registered Nurse
