Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical travel assignment in Portland Oregon United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $1,878 and $1,990 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (12-hour shifts). Work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital with Med-Surg patient care. EPIC experience required. This role involves delivering direct nursing care for Med-Surg patients following the nursing process and established standards. You will monitor patient conditions administer medications and treatments manage IVs and devices. You will develop and implement individualized care plans coordinate with physicians therapists and families. You will conduct patient and family education participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. You will supervise and delegate tasks to assigned nursing staff promote a safe healing environment. Collaboration with multidisciplinary team supports safe high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements10
- 1Current RN license in Oregon state practice
- 2BSN preferred but not required
- 3Minimum 2 years recent Med-Surg acute care experience
- 4Valid BLS certification AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
- 5Strong communication and clinical decision-making abilities
- 6Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- 7Experience with AWS cloud platforms not applicable
- 8Proficiency in React web applications not applicable
- 9Familiarity with Python scripting not applicable
- 10Knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration not applicable
