What You'll Do9
- 1Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs
- 2Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- 3Administer medications accurately and adjust interventions based on patient responses
- 4Supervise nursing personnel to deliver safe therapeutic care adhering to policies and procedures
- 5Provide patient and family education about care plans medications and procedures
- 6Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice
- 7Maintain electronic medical records and manage automated dispensing systems
- 8Utilize advanced equipment for patient stabilization and monitoring
- 9Drive continuous quality improvement projects within the float pool environment
Requirements6
- 1Associate's of Nursing required Bachelor's preferred with field of study unspecified
- 21+ years acute care hospital experience preferred
- 3Oncology Certified Nurse Pediatric ER Assess Recog Stabilization PEARS Acute Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist CCNS Certified EKG Technician CET Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course ENPC Certified Lactation Counselor CLC NIH Stroke Scale NIHSS Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP Oncology Nurse Society ONS S TABL E Certification Stable Trauma Nurse Course TNCC Critical Care Medicine Certification CCMC NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program CEFM Neonatal Med Certification NEONATAL MED Basic Life Support CPR Cert required
- 4Physical ability to perform IV insertion central lines pulse ox NG tubes chest tubes hemodynamics monitoring and operate medical equipment
- 5Fluent English reading writing and basic computer skills using Windows programs
