Overview
The Registered Nurse will own patient care in the Emergency Department providing direct and indirect care. This role supports the mission of Methodist Health System while working in a magnet hospital with advanced trauma and specialty services.
What You'll Do9
- 1Adhere to hospital standards to foster cooperation through communication and teamwork
- 2Lead patient education processes for patients families and significant others
- 3Communicate effectively with team members patients and families assessing understanding
- 4Create therapeutic environments ensuring patient safety and staff well being
- 5Maintain accurate written documentation of patient information
- 6Administer medications and IVs safely and accurately
- 7Take personal responsibility for performance and professional development
- 8Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality care during episodes of illness
- 9Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current Basic Life Support Certification
- 3Current license to practice nursing in Texas
- 4Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 5Six months RN experience
