Overview
Lead nutrition care ownership overseeing patient nutritional assessments and pre-surgical evaluations. Develop personalized nutrition plans incorporating socio-economic factors and guide patients through post-surgical recovery phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and ensure dietary compliance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct initial nutrition assessments and pre-surgical screenings for surgical candidates
- 2Provide comprehensive nutrition consultations before and after surgeries
- 3Create individualized nutrition care plans considering patient-specific factors
- 4Monitor and adjust dietary regimens based on patient progress and lab results
- 5Lead patient support groups and deliver educational sessions on nutrition
- 6Advise on non-surgical weight loss strategies and chronic disease management
- 7Utilize research to implement best practices in patient care
- 8Follow up with patients via multiple communication channels about dietary concerns
- 9Maintain accurate documentation and communicate care plans through various systems
- 10Perform office tasks including basic computer operations and document management
- 11Support team initiatives aligned with organizational mission and quality standards
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor of Science degree with CDR registration eligibility
- 2Minimum 5+ years experience building nutritional programs
- 3California registered dietitian license
- 4Preferred AWS Certified professional certification
- 5Proven ability to lead complex patient care initiatives
Salary Insight
$31 - $43k per year
