What You'll Do10
- 1Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- 2Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- 3Take and develop dental radiographs accurately while adhering to infection control protocols.
- 4Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using Itero and intraoral camera.
- 5Treat periodontal disease with laser and Arestin under supervision.
- 6Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in Eaglesoft, documenting treatment plans and clinical notes.
- 7Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic technique and sterilization of instruments.
- 8Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- 9Monitor patient vital signs during appointments to ensure safety throughout treatment sessions.
- 10Support pediatric dentistry cases with specialized care tailored to children's needs.
