Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Kansas City
Overview
You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism in home and community settings, implementing evidence-based interventions that promote independence and positive behavior. You will join a clinical team of RBTs and BCBAs who provide ongoing support and mentorship. We offer paid training to earn your RBT certification and same-day pay for immediate access to earnings. This role gives you autonomy to build your own schedule and choose your cases, with no minimum case requirement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions that promote independence and positive behavior.
- 2Implement individualized skill-building programs and care plans as part of the clinical team.
- 3Collect and record session data accurately using electronic devices.
- 4Foster a positive, engaging learning environment for clients while building meaningful connections with families.
- 5Complete RBT certification training within the first 90 days and pass the competency assessment.
- 6Maintain professional boundaries and clear communication with families and supervisors.
- 7Adapt session activities to each client's unique needs and interests.
- 8Track client progress and report observations to the BCBA.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Willingness to learn and passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Autism.
- 3Patience, compassion, and ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- 4Candidates must successfully obtain their RBT certification before providing services; we provide training and support.
- 5Commitment to at least six months of service in home and community settings.
- 6Part-time availability with flexible scheduling.
- 7Experience in education, childcare, behavioral health, or caregiving is a plus but not required.
