What You'll Do8

- 2Secure all cargo with tarping, strapping, and chaining per safety and compliance standards.
- 3Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging hours with ELD systems.
- 4Communicate dispatch updates and route changes, adapting to weather and traffic conditions.
- 5Manage load documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- 6Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- 7Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
- 8Collaborate with the team to meet tight delivery windows while prioritizing safety.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of Class A commercial driving experience with a valid CDL A license.
- 2Proven flatbed hauling experience with tarping, strapping, and chaining all commodities.
- 3Clean driving record and reliable attendance.
- 4Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied weather conditions.
- 5Comfort with regional routes, averaging 4 nights over the road per week.
- 6Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
