Receiving Equipment Operator - Baltimore Shipping
Overview
Manage receiving operations at Bob's Discount Furniture Baltimore location. Own the process of unloading and storing products safely. Work with the Stocking Team to maintain inventory accuracy and safety standards. This role involves leading other duties as directed by leads and supervisors. The position differs by focusing on equipment operation and logistics rather than software development.
What You'll Do5
- 1Pick up product from staging area and off load onto shelving units
- 2Scan all merchandise using RF gun to maintain accurate inventory
- 3Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- 4Lead other duties as assigned by leads and supervisors
- 5Operate electric lift and RF gun effectively
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- 2Flexible availability including weekends
- 3Pass lift assessment with 250 lb push pull requirement
- 4Ability to operate an electric lift
- 5Proficiency with RF gun technology
- 6Physical stamina to stand walking 20% of the day and stoop/kneel/crouch 55% of the time
