You own concrete delivery from batch plant to pour, running 60-70 hours weekly across Houston job sites. This role requires 1+ years commercial driving and a CDL. What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver ready mix concrete to job sites on schedule, navigating Houston traffic safely.
- 2Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.
- 3Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine fluid checks to keep equipment ready.
- 4Coordinate with dispatch and site superintendents to sequence pours without delays.
- 5Operate the drum and chute controls to discharge concrete with precision.
- 6Manage delivery tickets and document any issues for billing accuracy.
- 7Execute maneuvers on tight residential and commercial sites, using spotters when needed.
- 8Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Requirements7
- 11+ years commercial driving experience, with ready mix or dump truck preferred.
- 2Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- 3Ability to handle a 10-speed manual transmission (if applicable).
- 4Physical stamina for climbing, chute taps, and occasional plug pulls.
- 5Willingness to work 60-70 hours per week, including on-call and overtime.
- 6Basic math for concrete volume calculations and load verification.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
