What You'll Do34
- 1Identifies and selects proper load for racking
- 2Receives load information from Anodizing desk
- 3Locates and identifies specific load as indicated on tag
- 4Selects proper racking equipment for load to be assembled
- 5Pulls carrier to loading area with or without assistance
- 6Determines quantity and size of plastics bolt-ons and/or clips required for proper extrusion support and electrical connection
- 7Checks integrity of racking equipment as each racking device is removed from walls
- 8Manually sands racking device hooks and carrier bars where conducting materials touch
- 9Loads extrusions onto racks applying most effective loading method
- 10Inspects each part for defects or excessive grease
- 11Cleans end cap extrusions before racking
- 12Lifts each extrusion onto racking device and attaches it using appropriate tools
- 13Inspects and ensures all extrusions are fastened to racking apparatus
- 14Checks tag verifying everything is on load according to tag
- 15Pushes or pulls carrier over to anodizing area
- 16Takes unusable racking devices to rack repair
- 17Replaces stripped nuts as needed
- 18Ensures plastics are in good working condition
- 19Cleans and picks up area floors, work tables, etc.
- 20Identifies and selects proper load for unracking
- 21Pulls anodized loads according to priority to the unracking area
- 22Visually inspects materials on rack for color and quality of processing
- 23Performs dye stain seal test
- 24Unloads extrusions onto cart and inspects for damage
- 25Fills out rework slip and returns defective pieces
- 26Completes unloading log in Excel
- 27Enters information in the ERP system
- 28Initials and dates job paperwork
- 29Unhooks racks and returns them to proper storage areas
- 30Transports material to appropriate location in the Packing department
- 31Returns empty carriers to the Anodizing bay
- 32Inspection of parts to ensure quality specifications
- 33Informs Lead Quality Assurance or Supervisor if there are any quality concerns
- 34Completes tasks delegated by supervisor
