You will own end-to-end delivery of transaction monitoring solutions on Quantexa for a major New York City bank. You will lead a team of engineers and analysts, translating business requirements into scalable data pipelines and advanced analytics. What You'll Do7
- 1Design and implement transaction monitoring workflows using Quantexa and Spark for real-time alerting.
- 2Lead a team of 5-8 developers to build and deploy Scala components on Databricks.
- 3Drive integration of Kafka streams with Quantexa for continuous data enrichment.
- 4Own code reviews and technical design documents to ensure maintainable and testable solutions.
- 5Collaborate with compliance officers to tune alert thresholds and reduce false positives.
- 6Ship a proof-of-concept within the first 90 days to demonstrate detection uplift.
- 7Troubleshoot production incidents, using Splunk and Grafana for monitoring and root cause analysis.
Requirements7
- 18+ years in data engineering or software development, with 3+ years as a technical lead.
- 25+ years hands-on with Quantexa (including entity resolution and network analytics).
- 3Strong Scala and Spark skills for building distributed data pipelines.
- 4Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized deployments.
- 5Proven track record in transaction monitoring or AML (anti-money laundering) domain.
- 6Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's preferred.
- 7Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
