What You'll Do11
- 1Work directly with internal and external customers to verify technical requirements and oversee sand casting processes
- 2Perform contract review by interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
- 3Collaborate with external customers for product/process approval and verification
- 4Measure and monitor process capability while participating in improvement initiatives
- 5Evaluate customer claims and conduct defect analysis using 8D methodology
- 6Drive process improvements to increase yield and reduce costs of poor quality
- 7Develop and lead failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and control plans
- 8Provide training to shop floor personnel and support functions as needed
- 9Participate in development of advanced product quality planning and production part approval processes
- 10Interpret engineering drawings and apply geometric dimension tolerance standards
- 11Utilize GD&T principles to assess casting integrity
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 3 years experience in aerospace manufacturing process support within quality engineering or technician roles
- 2Knowledge of AS9100 Quality System or Nadcap processes
- 3Proven ability to perform root cause corrective actions via 8D methodology
- 4Familiarity with APQP and PPAP frameworks
- 5Experience reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T techniques
- 6Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
- 7Proficiency with computer tools used in quality management
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills
