What You'll Do8

  • 1Represent the Quality Unit during manufacturing operations, acting as the customer on site to verify cGMP compliance and enforce local, state, and federal regulations
  • 2Perform scheduled walk-throughs of formulation, sample/pre-weigh, filling areas, and the Warehouse to monitor quality and identify risks
  • 3Conduct AQL visual inspection of finished goods to ensure product quality meets specification
  • 4Execute Environmental Monitoring of Class C production areas, collecting samples to verify cleanliness and contamination control
  • 5Review line clearance and production area setup before each new batch or operation to prevent cross-contamination
  • 6Provide quality approval and acceptance for raw materials, components, and finished products, including release decisions
  • 7Review packaging, product labels, cleaning logs, and maintenance logs, and support quality investigations
  • 8Collect retention samples and monitor drug storage conditions to maintain product stability

Requirements7

  • 1High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in scientific discipline preferred
  • 22+ years of pharmaceutical experience in a quality role, with hands-on cGMP and USP knowledge
  • 3Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential preferred
  • 4Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset with a results orientation
  • 5Proven organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks
  • 6Aptitude for decision-making and performing risk assessments
  • 7Good computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft programs
