What You'll Do10
- 1Execute qualification test programs against military transport and industry standards including MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-461 UN 38.3 IATA DGR and customer-specific requirements
- 2Set up and operate lab equipment such as environmental chambers vibration systems battery cyclers and data acquisition systems
- 3Fabricate and instrument test fixtures including cabling thermocouple placement and safe electrical connections at pack-level voltages
- 4Generate detailed product qualification test plans and compile final qualification reports that withstand customer and third-party scrutiny
- 5Collect evaluate and report test results with full traceability including DUT identification calibration status chamber setpoints and timestamps
- 6Collaborate with third-party labs and certification bodies to attain product compliance to safety and transport regulations
- 7Plan and document project status maintain test schedules and coordinate with functional managers and customers to ensure on-time delivery
- 8Perform root cause failure analysis of products assemblies and components to identify corrective and preventative actions
- 9Communicate project risks technical findings and deviations across organizational levels supporting mitigation activities
- 10Provide technical support to other functional groups and assist in acceptance and implementation of new tools and techniques
Requirements8
- 1Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology Electronics Technology or related field
- 2Equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on test lab experience
- 3Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in product development qualification or compliance testing
- 4Strong working knowledge of standard electronics test equipment including oscilloscopes digital multimeters programmable power supplies and data loggers
- 5Ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform basic electrical calculations
- 6Demonstrated experience with data gathering analysis and technical report generation
- 7Fluent in English with strong verbal and written technical communication skills
- 8Capable of working in a team environment independently with minimal supervision
