QA SDET, Data & AI Testing
Overview
You own quality for the data ecosystems and AI models at SkilzMatrix Digital, serving enterprise clients like PNC. You design and implement automated testing frameworks that guard Python and Java microservices and validate Kubernetes deployments. You partner with data engineers and data scientists on a team of 5+ in a hybrid setup across Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, Birmingham, and Phoenix. Your work ensures AI output meets accuracy and reliability standards from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build automated test suites for Python and Java data pipelines within the first 90 days.
- 2Design and deploy test frameworks on AWS and Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3Validate model output with PyTest and Selenium against real-time data streams.
- 4Lead integration testing for Spark and Kafka data ingestion across the platform.
- 5Ship quality gates for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Robot Framework.
- 6Debug and resolve test failures in PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments.
- 7Drive performance testing for AI endpoints with Locust and analyze latency
- 8Own the regression strategy for model retraining cycles with automated checkpoints.
Requirements9
- 15+ years in SDET or test automation engineering
- 23+ years testing data pipelines or ML models
- 3Hands-on with Python and Java for automation scripts
- 4Proficiency in Selenium and PyTest for UI and API tests
- 5Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a CI/CD workflow
- 6Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- 7Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud test environments
- 8US visa sponsorship available
- 9Onsite presence in one of the listed locations
