Python API Integration Engineer, Financial Data & ETL
Overview
Own end-to-end API integration for investment data at scale. You will connect internal portfolio management systems with external and internal APIs, enabling real-time data exchange for reporting and analytics. The role combines backend API development with robust ETL workflows to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. You will join a collaborative team and work onsite in Westlake, TX with possible remote days and flexible siting in Raleigh or Jersey City.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain Python API integrations between portfolio systems and external data sources to enable real-time financial data exchange
- 2Design and implement ETL processes and APIs to ensure reliable data flows for investment reporting and analytics
- 3Develop robust endpoints using Django/FastAPI to support seamless data synchronization across platforms
- 4Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to reduce data latency and improve data quality by 90 days
- 5Ship scalable backend features that improve data visibility and reporting for stakeholders
