Overview
You will own the design and deployment of Python AI systems for a Washington DC client, integrating LLM and RAG pipelines. You join a 6-person engineering team building generative AI solutions with PyTorch and LangGraph. You deliver production-grade APIs on Azure or Google Cloud Platform. This contract role demands a hands-on builder who ships models into real applications.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build LLM-based applications using Langchain and LangGraph for retrieval-augmented generation
- 2Develop and deploy Python APIs that serve AI models to production
- 3Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases and SQL/NoSQL storage
- 4Train and fine-tune models with PyTorch and Scikit-learn
- 5Process and prepare datasets using NumPy and Pandas for model training
- 6Integrate AI components with cloud services on Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- 7Debug and optimize model inference for latency and accuracy
- 8Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability
Requirements9
- 13+ years of production Python development
- 2Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks: Langchain and LangGraph
- 3Proficiency in RAG architectures and vector search
- 4Strong background in Machine Learning with Scikit-learn and PyTorch
- 5Solid grasp of NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation
- 6Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API integration
- 7Familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- 8Knowledge of NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI (preferred)
- 9Onsite presence in Washington DC: 3 days per week mandatory
