What You'll Do10
- 1Work as part of the Therapy Team under PT guidance
- 2Measure and record resident function and gait training outcomes
- 3Observe residents and document progress reports
- 4Assist residents with specific therapeutic exercises
- 5Apply balance and gait training techniques
- 6Help residents use rehabilitation equipment and devices
- 7Educate residents on proper exercise techniques
- 8Maintain resident confidentiality
- 9Comply with all federal state and local legal requirements
- 10Contribute to overall team efforts and goals
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- 2Current NJ State PTA license
- 3Experience in long-term-care settings preferred
- 4Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques
- 5Excellent communication skills
