Overview
Ultimate Therapy seeks a compassionate PTA to restore mobility and independence for residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. You will provide PT treatments, educate caregivers, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver physical therapy treatments under licensed therapist direction
- 2Improve resident strength balance mobility and functional performance
- 3Create individualized treatment plans to maximize outcomes
- 4Track progress and report updates to supervising therapists
- 5Teach mobility techniques and safety strategies to patients and families
- 6Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- 7Work with occupational therapists speech-language pathologists and nursing staff
- 8Support collaborative rehabilitation efforts in a resident-first environment
Requirements4
- 1Active New Jersey PTA license
- 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 3Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- 4Ability to work in a direct hire model without agency involvement
