Overview

The PT Support Staff provides advanced administrative support to Family Court Administration focusing on Dependency. What You'll Do11

  • 1Provide administrative support to Family Court Administration with emphasis on Dependency services
  • 2Handle all incoming phone calls and manage visitor traffic at the public counter
  • 3Cross-train in all Family Court divisions to understand diverse responsibilities
  • 4Schedule custody conferences parenting classes and mediator appointments
  • 5Maintain daily logs of custody orders and coordinate with judges for signatures
  • 6File and docket notices at the Prothonotary office
  • 7Preserve files for appropriate Orphans’ Court judges
  • 8Assist Assistant Family Court Administrator with Protection from Abuse Orders
  • 9Update manuals with detailed procedures and maintain record retention standards
  • 10Participate in training seminars and continue education initiatives
  • 11Perform typing data entry transcription and statistical analysis tasks

Requirements9

  • 1High School Diploma or GED with minimum two years general office experience
  • 2Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and advanced Microsoft Office applications
  • 3Strong typing skills minimum 55 words per minute
  • 4Experience with court management systems including CourtView and CPCMS
  • 5Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 7Intermediate mathematical calculation abilities
  • 8Flexibility to adapt to changing workplace demands
  • 9Background check clearance required prior to employment
