Overview
The Psychologist leads integrated behavioral health services at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. This mission-driven role focuses on medical stabilization and evidence-based treatment for complex cases. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide high quality clinical services to inpatient patients for medical stabilization and evidence-based behavioral health interventions (20%)
- 2Consult with providers as part of the interdisciplinary team and generate recommendations (10%)
- 3Conduct brief diagnostic screening using evidence-based assessments (5%)
- 4Perform safety and risk assessments as needed (5%)
- 5Generate documentation of assessment and intervention in the medical record promptly (10%)
- 6Actively participate in regular team meetings and huddles (15%)
- 7Participate in teaching and didactics as part of the training faculty (5%)
- 8Provide teaching presentations to ACUTE staff and medical residents (5%)
- 9Contribute to research and professional writing (5%)
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Doctorate Degree in psychology from an accredited school
- 31-3 years of work experience
- 4One year of postdoctoral experience
- 5PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners
- 6BLS-CPR - AHA or American Red Cross
- 7Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and diagnoses
- 8Cultural competency across diverse patient populations
- 9Therapeutic alliance skills for primary care settings
- 10Ability to manage trauma responses and psychiatric emergencies
- 11Microsoft Office proficiency
