Overview

The Psychologist leads integrated behavioral health services at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. What You'll Do9

  • 1Provide high quality clinical services to inpatient patients for medical stabilization and evidence-based behavioral health interventions (20%)
  • 2Consult with providers as part of the interdisciplinary team and generate recommendations (10%)
  • 3Conduct brief diagnostic screening using evidence-based assessments (5%)
  • 4Perform safety and risk assessments as needed (5%)
  • 5Generate documentation of assessment and intervention in the medical record promptly (10%)
  • 6Actively participate in regular team meetings and huddles (15%)
  • 7Participate in teaching and didactics as part of the training faculty (5%)
  • 8Provide teaching presentations to ACUTE staff and medical residents (5%)

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Doctorate Degree in psychology from an accredited school
  • 31-3 years of work experience
  • 4One year of postdoctoral experience
  • 5PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners
  • 6BLS-CPR - AHA or American Red Cross
  • 7Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and diagnoses
  • 8Cultural competency across diverse patient populations
  • 9Therapeutic alliance skills for primary care settings
  • 10Ability to manage trauma responses and psychiatric emergencies
  • 11Microsoft Office proficiency
