Overview

Project Engineer I leading front end engineering and early development for gas and liquids pipelines at scale across planning, design, estimating, risk, and scheduling. Work with cross functional teams to progress projects from concept through ROM and Class 3 estimates. Collaborate with engineering, operations, construction, and regulatory partners in a dynamic environment. Distinct focus on development across multiple sites and potential travel.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build front end engineering and preliminary design deliverables for gas and liquids pipeline projects
  • 2Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments to support decision making
  • 3Assist in creating project charters from ROM through Class 3 estimates
  • 4Identify risks, uncertainties, scope requirements, and execution strategies
  • 5Prepare project information and recommendations for management decisions
  • 6Provide regular project status updates and reporting to management and stakeholders
  • 7Coordinate with engineering, operations, construction, regulatory, and other project teams
  • 8Support regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination across project planning and execution
  • 9Contribute to project development efforts and early planning activities
  • 10Maintain proper documentation and traceability of project development activities

Requirements5

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 20–3 years of experience in oil & gas engineering, pipeline operations, project management, or project development
  • 3Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • 4Basic understanding of project scheduling, cost estimating, and project development
  • 5Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project needs
