Production Associate Chicago Aerotek
Overview
Shift role operating filling equipment handling materials and packaging liquid and powdered products in a high-volume production environment. Work second or third shift in fast-paced loud dirty area ensuring accurate filling labeling and documentation following procedures and safety standards.
What You'll Do13
- 1Operate filling equipment in MTA Liquids area to load unload and process products from production line
- 2Handle products weighing 5 to 50 lbs moving and positioning containers safely
- 3Fill finished products and raw materials into customer specified containers such as gallon jugs small drums and small containers
- 4Use measurement tools and math skills to verify volumes weights and counts during production
- 5Enter data into DOSS computer system to record production updates and equipment status
- 6Label count pack and prepare products for shipping meeting packaging requirements
- 7Collaborate with production workers supervisors and team leads to meet goals and timelines
- 8Follow Good Manufacturing Practice standards while operating machines mixing batches and packing products
- 9Support batch mixing activities as needed based on work orders and production instructions
- 10Operate stand-up reach trucks to move product and materials within warehouse and production areas
- 11Assist with moving product from packaging department to warehouse and preparing for shipment
- 12Maintain clean organized work area contributing to safe efficient production environment
- 13Perform additional duties within production area as assigned by supervisors
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in food manufacturing or environments with strong odors
- 36+ months hands-on stand-up reach truck experience
- 4High School Diploma or GED required for permanent employment
- 5Ability to work effectively in loud fast-paced and sometimes dirty production environment
- 6Strong attention to detail for accurate labeling packing and documentation
- 7Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production operations
- 8Experience with work orders and batch sheets in manufacturing settings
- 9Willingness to learn warehouse procedures and cross train on various equipment
- 10Comfortable working under supervision while taking initiative to support team goals
- 11Commitment to maintain clean organized work area
