Product Manager Data Engine
Overview
We are hiring a Product Manager, Data Engine to own our deployment platform. The core of it is the data engine: everything that turns what happens in the field into training signals our models can learn from. It is the highest-leverage system we have for how fast our robots improve.
What You'll Do12
- 1Decide what we capture
- 2Define what every robot logs and what an episode has to contain for someone to diagnose a failure
- 3Get it instrumented across the fleet
- 4Own the labeling schema
- 5Define how label quality is measured and audited
- 6Own the rest of the loop
- 7Design for technical, opinionated users
- 8Own the UX and not just the capability
- 9Setup, monitoring, evals, intervention, and escalation
- 10Decide what customers need to see to trust robots running in their business
- 11Spend real time on site
- 12Watch robots fail and operators work
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Data Engine ownership
- 3ML infrastructure familiarity
- 4Experience designing and building tooling from scratch
- 5Comfort with systems that fail in physical ways
