What You'll Do10
- 1Support automated assembly and plastic injection molding operations across multiple product lines.
- 2Work hands-on with injection molding equipment, tooling, and related manufacturing systems to optimize performance.
- 3Develop, refine, and document manufacturing processes to improve product quality and production efficiency.
- 4Apply process engineering principles to troubleshoot molding and assembly issues and implement robust solutions.
- 5Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify waste, reduce variation, and drive continuous improvement.
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and quality for new product introduction and process development.
- 7Create, update, and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- 8Support automation initiatives by evaluating and improving automated assembly processes and equipment.
- 9Monitor production performance, analyze data, and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce scrap.
- 10Contribute to tooling design reviews and improvements to enhance mold performance, part quality, and tool life.
Requirements10
- 13+ years of plastic injection mold processing experience.
- 23+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3Hands-on experience with injection molding setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- 4Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to automated assembly and production.
- 5Ability to develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for improved quality and efficiency.
- 6Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
- 7Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices.
- 8Exposure to Six Sigma tools and concepts.
- 9Ability to create and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
- 10Strong mechanical engineering aptitude related to tooling, equipment, and manufacturing systems.
