PRN Therapist (Adult Program) - Mental Health & Substance Use
Overview
You will provide individual and group therapy to adults in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at The Redpoint Center, a leading Colorado provider. You own clinical assessments, treatment plans, and crisis management for a caseload of clients with mental health and substance use disorders. You join a multidisciplinary team of licensed professionals collaborating on comprehensive care. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to impact recovery in a meaningful way. Work onsite in Greeley or Boulder.
What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult clients, applying evidence-based modalities for mental health and substance use.
- 2Lead group therapy sessions that foster community and recovery, using CBT and DBT techniques.
- 3Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans within the first 30 days.
- 4Implement crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and confidentiality.
- 5Document clinical progress in EHR systems, meeting program standards for timeliness and accuracy.
- 6Coordinate care with psychiatrists, case managers, and family members to align treatment goals.
- 7Comply with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines in all client interactions.
Requirements5
- 1Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- 2Active Colorado state licensure as a therapist or counselor, or provisional licensure eligibility.
- 31+ years experience treating mental health and substance use disorders.
- 4Strong understanding of HIPAA and professional ethical standards.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
