Overview
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver to join Homestead Home Health Care Services in Detroit, MI. This role offers flexible 4 to 12 hour shifts providing direct support to elderly clients while fostering meaningful connections. The position includes competitive pay rates and benefits. What You'll Do9
- 1Use transfer assistive devices including Hoyer lifts and gait belts
- 2Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and toileting
- 3Evaluate health changes and coordinate with healthcare teams
- 4Maintain environment cleanliness and properly use medical equipment
- 5Develop life enrichment activities for clients
- 6Transport clients to medical appointments or shopping trips
- 7Complete documentation and chart patient information
- 8Plan and prepare nutritious meals
- 9Provide companionship following company policies
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 2 years caregiving experience
- 2Ability to pass medication administration tests
- 3Valid driver license and insurance
- 4High school diploma or GED
- 5Reliable transportation within 25 miles
- 6Weekend availability
