Principal Site Reliability Engineer
Overview
Lead end-to-end digital experience for Disney attractions and entertainment. Drive infrastructure improvements and observability strategies across multi-cloud environments spanning AWS Azure and GCP. Partner with Commerce and Consumer Product teams to ensure reliability and scalability of commerce platforms.
What You'll Do8
- 1Champion and scale DevOps culture across Commerce Licensing and Publishing teams mentoring engineers on observability practices to reduce MTTR and improve application stability
- 2Design build and support platforms while driving automation of security and observability pipelines instrument telemetry for proactive monitoring
- 3Establish systems administration requirements in Linux and Windows across cloud providers and manage containers on AWS Azure and GCP
- 4Engage in estimation and planning across organization voicing recommendations from technical perspective
- 5Continuously monitor emerging technologies to drive informed decisions and recommendations
- 6Authority in AWS Azure GCP Harness Kubernetes Terraform and observability tooling
- 7Advocate diversity inclusion fostering belonging and drive excellence through leadership
- 8Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver large-scale projects ensuring reliability scalability and performance of critical commerce platforms
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 10 years related work experience
- 2Expertise defining and implementing observability strategies across complex distributed systems
- 3Mastery architecting highly available scalable automated infrastructure using Terraform Cloud Formation Ansible and Chef
- 4Experience with AI for optimizing system reliability via advanced analytics
- 5Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- 6Visionary leader motivating teams to excel and foster creativity
- 7Advocate for diverse inclusive culture
- 8Authority in AWS Azure GCP Harness Kubernetes Terraform and observability tooling
- 9Preferred: Harness CI/CD pipelines DevOps automation tooling multi-cloud expertise ecommerce platform experience observability platforms Datadog New Relic Dynatrace
