- 1Define the engineering approach for the entire program or portfolio solution, collaborating with Architecture to deliver technical enablers.
- 2Lead the planning and design of complex features that span multiple teams, exploring alternatives and validating economic impact.
- 3Own the technical oversight for solution development, including design reviews and code quality within your domain.
- 4Select the technology tool stack from approved options, optimizing for efficiency and reuse.
- 5Research and adopt state-of-the-art technologies to improve development efficiency, test coverage, and release management.
- 6Drive the end-to-end test strategy and integration across teams for the program or portfolio.
- 7Champion the adoption of Data Fabric, Data Governance, and AI/GenAI analytics to strengthen regulatory compliance and business insights.
- 8Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence and a culture of innovation.
Requirements8
- 112+ years in technology leadership, guiding large global teams in payments or financial services.
- 2Deep knowledge of global payments, including wire, RTP, ACH, cross-border, and ISO 20022.
- 3Proven experience leading analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and AI/ML teams.
- 4Expertise with modern data architectures: data lakes, warehouses, streaming, and cloud-native analytics.
- 5Hands-on understanding of API ecosystems, event-driven architectures, and distributed data platforms.
- 6Experience implementing data governance programs covering metadata, lineage, and data quality.
- 7Ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps, partnering with product and operations.
- 8Track record of building high-performing engineering organizations and developing senior talent.
