Lead a team to produce high-quality precision sheet metal parts using advanced machinery. You will set up and operate CNC press brakes while ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications. What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to form precision sheet metal parts
- 2Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders
- 3Select proper tooling and perform machine setups for various material types and thicknesses
- 4Verify dimensions using calipers tape measures protractors angle gauges and other precision measuring instruments
- 5Perform first-piece in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- 6Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and tight tolerances
- 7Identify material defects and report quality concerns to supervisors
- 8Safely handle raw materials and finished products
- 9Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- 10Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting as needed
- 11Work closely with fabrication welding and quality control teams to meet production schedules
Requirements6
- 12 years of CNC press brake experience in a precision sheet metal environment
- 2Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- 3Experience with precision measuring equipment
- 4Knowledge of bend deductions and material properties is preferred
- 5Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
