Press Brake Operator Precision Sheet Metal

You will own the setup and operation of press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts at AES Manufacturing in Kansas City, Missouri. You will read technical drawings, select tooling, and verify output to meet 0.01-inch tolerances. You will support a high-mix, low-volume production environment, coordinating with production, quality, and engineering teams. Operate a press brake independently to bend sheet metal parts with 3+ years of experience. Read drawings, calculate bends, and hold .010 tolerance on every piece. Work onsite in Dallas for a manufacturing team that values precision and reliability.

You will run press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts for critical infrastructure products. Work on a second shift in Hanover, MD, with a team of fabricators. You will operate a Press Brake to fabricate steel components for structural and plate applications. You will work as part of a 10-person team in a fabrication shop producing 200+ parts per day. This role offers immediate impact on production output and 2nd shift premium pay.

Set up operate tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material. Examine completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws. Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers. Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes. Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data. Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools. Install, align, lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools. Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances. Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct work pieces, using hand tools and measuring devices. Position, align, and secure work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies. Load work pieces, plastic material, or chemical solutions into machines. Adjust ram strokes of presses to specified lengths, using hand tools. Clean and lubricate machines. Mark identifying data on work pieces. Clean work area.

You own setup, programming, and operation of CNC press brake and laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components. You interpret detailed blueprints, manage full changeovers, and deliver accurate first-article production.
