What You'll Do11
- 1Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- 2Fabricate and weld pipe spools in a prefabrication shop environment
- 3Weld butt weld and socket weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems up to 8-inch diameter
- 4Read and interpret isometric drawings blueprints plan views elevation views weld symbols and piping specifications
- 5Perform pipe layouts take-offs and determine cut lengths using project drawings
- 6Measure and identify inside and outside pipe diameters
- 7Assemble fit and weld piping systems to project specifications
- 8Coordinate with pipefitters and fabrication personnel to complete spool packages
- 9Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements
- 10Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- 11Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of trade management experience
- 3Certified 5G/6G Carbon Pipe Welding Certification required
- 4Certified 5G/6G Stainless Steel Pipe Welding Certification required
- 5Proficiency in MIG welding
- 6Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a fabrication shop or industrial environment
- 7Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- 8Ability to read and interpret ISO drawings blueprints weld symbols and piping specifications
- 9Experience performing pipe take-offs layouts and field measurements
- 10Knowledge of inside and outside pipe diameters
- 11Ability to use tape measures and precision measuring tools accurately
- 12Must have all required welding tools and PPE
- 13Must successfully pass a drug screen
