Overview
The Prep Cook will own ingredient preparation ensuring consistency quality and freshness across dishes. This role supports kitchen success through detailed hands-on work and attention to detail.
What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes including sauces marinades and pastes
- 2Wash peel cut and chop vegetables proteins and other ingredients
- 3Cook and prepare base components such as rice potatoes corn choclo and stocks
- 4Marinate meats and fish following food safety guidelines
- 5Label date and properly store prepped items to maintain freshness and reduce waste
- 6Maintain a clean organized and sanitized prep station and walk-in/reach-in coolers
- 7Monitor inventory levels of prepped items and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager
- 8Follow all food safety and sanitation standards regarding proper handling temperature control and cross-contamination prevention
- 9Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- 10Support broader kitchen team during transition to lunch service
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in hospitality
- 3CPC Card certification
- 4BCBA certification
- 5AWS Certified
- 65+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
