What You'll Do7

  • 1Design and execute multi-omics studies to identify molecular biomarkers of cardiovascular disease.
  • 2Analyze large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic datasets with R and Python.
  • 3Lead genome-wide association studies and phenome-wide scans using Linux environments.
  • 4Collaborate with cohort consortia to integrate multi-omics data across populations.

  • 7Maintain meticulous records of experiments and data analyses for reproducibility.

Requirements7

  • 1Doctoral degree in medicine, biostatistics, genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • 21+ year experience programming in Linux, R, and Python.
  • 3Experience with large-scale biological datasets, multi-omics integration, or machine learning.
  • 4Proven record of peer-reviewed publications in genetics or epidemiology.
  • 5Strong oral and written communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • 6Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced academic environment.
  • 7Expertise in statistical analysis of genomic data using tools like PLINK or equivalent.
