What You'll Do9
- 1Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
- 2Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- 3Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- 4Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering smoking or carrying forbidden articles
- 5Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- 6Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property meets client requirements
- 7Investigate and prepare reports on accidents incidents and suspicious activities maintaining written logs as required
- 8Aid customers employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- 9Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- 2Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
- 3Background investigation compliance with federal state and local laws
- 4Drug screen as permitted by law
- 5Age requirement of 18 years or higher depending on state regulations
- 6Reliability adaptability proficiency with radio telephone equipment and console monitors
- 7Effective oral and written communication skills active listening and problem solving abilities
