Security Professional Flex Officer - Allied Universal

What You'll Do9
- 1Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
- 2Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- 3Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- 4Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering smoking or carrying forbidden articles
- 5Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- 6Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
- 7Investigate and prepare reports on accidents incidents and suspicious activities maintaining written logs as required by the post
- 8Aid customers employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- 9Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders
Requirements13
- 1High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
- 2Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
- 3Background investigation as required by law
- 4Drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- 5Be at least 18 years of age or higher if required by the state
- 6Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- 7Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- 8Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- 9Effective oral and written communication skills
- 10Active listening and problem solving skills
- 11Assess and evaluate situations effectively identifying critical issues quickly and accurately
- 12Mediate conflict with tact diplomacy
- 13Teamwork attention to detail
