What You'll Do8
- 1Manage psychiatric evaluations and medication management for 10+ patients weekly across child, adolescent, and adult populations.
- 2Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications using DEA guidelines, adjusting treatment plans within 90 days.
- 3Integrate therapy techniques into daily practice, ensuring evidence-based care for 5+ patients per day.
- 4Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists on a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- 5Document patient progress in EHR systems, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- 6Conduct follow-up visits and adjust medications based on patient response, achieving 80% stabilization rate.
- 7Participate in weekly team huddles and case reviews to improve clinical outcomes.
- 8Use telemedicine platforms for virtual visits, expanding access to care for 20% of patients.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of experience with medication management in psychiatric settings.
- 2PMHNP-BC certification and active DEA license in Illinois.
- 3Full Practice Authority license in Illinois highly preferred.
- 4Experience with both medication management and therapy.
- 5Active Illinois RN license and PMHNP degree from an accredited program.
- 6Willingness to work with children and adolescents.
- 7Comfort with EHR systems and telemedicine platforms.
- 8Ability to work in-person at our River North clinic.
Salary Insight
$120 - $148k per year
