What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems, including drain cleaning, sewer repair, and trenchless solutions.
- 2Troubleshoot plumbing issues on service calls, using hydro-jetting and video inspection equipment to identify root causes.
- 3Present repair and replacement options to customers, explaining costs and benefits clearly to secure approvals.
- 4Complete jobs to code, following safety protocols and using NEC and IPC standards for all installations.
- 5Maintain a fully stocked service truck, ensuring tools and parts are organized and ready for same-day calls.
- 6Document work performed and parts used in the field via mobile app, keeping records accurate for billing and warranty.
- 7Collaborate with dispatch and other techs to optimize routes and reduce response time on urgent calls.
Requirements6
- 12+ years experience as a plumbing technician or service plumber, with hands-on work in drain cleaning and sewer repair.
- 2Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including PEX, copper, and PVC piping.
- 3Valid driver's license with clean record for 5+ years, no major violations.
- 4Proven customer service skills, with ability to explain technical issues to homeowners.
- 5Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
- 6Willingness to work 5-6 days per week, with overtime during peak seasons.
