What You'll Do10
- 1Inspect plumbing installations during construction and upon completion for compliance with the State Plumbing Code and quality of workmanship
- 2Enforce Michigan Department of Health regulations for water service and drainage connections
- 3Assist contractors and plumbers with permit applications and issue permits
- 4Inspect new and repaired sewer connections and water service connections
- 5Investigate complaints regarding plumbing and sewers
- 6Prepare reports and maintain records
- 7Perform related work assigned
- 8Lead efforts to conform to local and state cross connection codes
- 9Drive to and from inspection sites
- 10Schedule work activities efficiently and manage tactful interactions with stakeholders
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Valid motor vehicle operator`s license with satisfactory driving record
- 4Thorough knowledge of the State Plumbing Code
- 5Some knowledge of commonly used computer software
- 6Ability to understand blueprints and specifications
- 7Ability to maintain good working relations with plumbers and contractors
- 8Proficiency in interpreting plumbing regulations and standards
