Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager at SGBC
Overview
Lead SGBC’s Facility Maintenance Department overseeing process engineering production automation city utility management capital projects and interior facility maintenance. Serve as point of contact for vendors utilities and property management while holding technicians accountable. Foster safety commitment professional conduct and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage and instruct workflow for maintenance technicians
- 2Maintain accurate documentation ensure shift reports complete and log preventative maintenance per SOP
- 3Set preventive maintenance schedules manage outside vendors and maintain spare parts inventory
- 4Support production schedule to achieve volume safety quality and environmental goals
- 5Oversee LOTO program provide new hire orientation and renewal training
- 6Develop and maintain equipment specific LOTO procedures oversee confined space and emergency response programs
- 7Collaborate with brewhouse cellar packaging teams optimize operations and stay present on production floor
- 8Manage facilities documentation coordinate utility upgrades and vendor approvals
- 9Drive EOS cGMP and 5S initiatives lead capital improvement proposals and oversee new equipment installation
- 10Support sales of obsolete equipment and handle permitting for expansions
- 11Assist with R&D initiatives and permit processes for new equipment integration
Requirements8
- 1Minimum age 21 bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
- 2Project management experience preferred especially in food manufacturing engineering
- 3At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing engineering or equivalent
- 4Strong troubleshooting problem solving and multitasking abilities
- 5Ability to communicate clearly in fast paced environment
- 6Commitment to safety professional conduct and continuous improvement mindset
- 7Physical stamina frequent walking standing bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
- 8Experience with safety policies and ability to perform renewal training every three years
