Pick-Up Warehouse Supervisor, First-Mile Logistics
Overview
You will own first-mile pickup operations for SwiftX in assigned New York ZIP codes, managing DSP drivers and external providers to hit daily pickup targets. You will balance route planning, dispatch, and real-time issue resolution across a high-volume logistics network. The role demands bilingual Mandarin English skills and deep coordination with customers, vendors, and DSPs. You will build pickup capacity through process improvements and resource alignment, directly shaping operational efficiency and cost control.
What You'll Do8
- 1Oversee fleet and driver resources from Delivery Service Partners, sourcing and managing external service providers for first-mile pickups.
- 2Plan and assign daily pickup routes for first-mile drivers, dispatching them to complete vendor and customer pickups on time.
- 3Own first-mile pickup quality, efficiency, and cost control, responding to operational issues and emergencies as they arise.
- 4Build first-mile pickup capacity by optimizing processes and coordinating resources across regions and ZIP codes.
- 5Review and refine first-mile workflows and operating models, implementing improvements to boost efficiency and performance.
- 6Coordinate first-mile information flow between internal teams and external partners, maintaining strong relationships with customers, DSPs, and vendors.
- 7Drive driver communication and dispatch to ensure seamless pickup execution, adjusting plans in real time.
- 8Execute additional tasks as assigned by management to support operational goals.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with bilingual Mandarin required.
- 21+ years of warehouse supervision experience in logistics or last-mile delivery.
- 3Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a safe working environment.
- 4Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- 5Experience managing dispatch or route planning for pickup operations.
- 6Familiarity with DSP management and vendor coordination in a logistics setting.
