  • 6Maintain accurate documentation record progress notes and coordinate referrals for specialized care.
  • 7Analyze clinical data to identify patterns and inform policy adjustments for inmate health services.
  • 8Train support staff on clinical procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements6

  • 15+ years experience practicing medicine in any U.S. state or territory.
  • 2Board certification as a physician in good standing with the American Board of Internal Medicine or relevant specialty.
  • 3Three or more years of correctional healthcare experience preferred.
  • 4Valid license and CPR certification meeting American Heart Association standards.
  • 5Proficiency with EHR systems and ability to navigate complex medical software.
  • 6Strong communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration.
