Physician Assistant, Functional Medicine in Primary Care
Overview
Own and scale comprehensive primary care for root-cause medicine in a supportive, growth-focused team. You will provide direct patient care through office visits and telehealth, collaborate with clinicians, and develop personalized treatment plans. This role offers guaranteed salary with potential to exceed $300k, no nights or weekends, and dedicated clinical support. You will train in functional medicine and contribute to a patient-centered, whole-person health model.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
- 2Develop personalized treatment plans including lifestyle, supplements, and hormone therapies
- 3Educate patients on preventive and functional medicine principles
- 4Collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and support staff
- 5Document visits in NextGen and participate in quality improvement and training
Requirements5
- 1Active medical license as a Certified Physician Assistant or eligibility
- 2Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- 3Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferably in functional medicine
- 4Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- 5Proficiency with electronic health records NextGen is a plus
