Physical Therapist Assistant PRN - Skilled Nursing & Rehab
Overview
You will deliver physical therapy interventions at Cane Ridge Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Nashville, TN, improving mobility, strength, and functional independence for residents in a skilled nursing setting. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. What You'll Do7
- 1Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist using therapeutic exercises and activities.
- 2Monitor resident responses to treatment and report changes to the PT.
- 3Assist with resident and family education on home exercise programs and safety.
- 4Complete timely and accurate documentation of services provided.
- 5Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and discharge planning.
- 6Adapt interventions based on resident progress and changing conditions.
- 7Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, following infection control protocols.
Requirements6
- 1Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- 2Current, unencumbered PTA license in the state of Tennessee.
- 3Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- 4Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- 5Ability to stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 6Current CPR certification preferred.
